HOW IT ALL BEGAN

 Ben Simpson has over 10 years of experience in video production, directing and camera operating. After graduating from Bournemouth University, he produced a self-funded feature film that was distributed nationally through DVD. After co-directing a further feature film, Ben honed his skills in the travel industry where he worked for four years; dealing with all aspects of production for the industry including: filming, editing, directing, producing and selling travel documentaries. Over this period Ben had the opportunity to film and experience locations in all corners of the world.  

On returning to the UK Ben became a camera technician for the ‘Visual Impact’ company based in Bristol where he provided technical support to all the major TV production companies including BBC, ITV and Channel 4; rigging shows such as 'The Great British Bake Off’. Ben is now a freelance director/cameraman working globally.
